GROUP INDOOR CYCLING
This course is aimed at individuals wishing to gain the skills and knowldge to design and deliver safe and effective group indoor spin cycling sessions.

Course Content
- How to design and teach safe and effective group indoor cycling sessions
- The principles of warm up, the main workout and the cool down
- Working with music and music licensing
- Motivating participants
- A variety of group teaching skills
- Cycle set up and safe cycling technique
- How to respond to health and safety issues
During the qualification learners will cover the following:
Pre-requisite
- Recommended - Level 2 Certificate in group training, group training to music or gym instructor

Assessment and Certification
The course is assessed through written questions, assignments, theory assessments and practical observations. Some assessments are completed as home study, some during the attendance days and some on an allocated assessment date. Please note that if you cannot make your allocated assessment date for this course there is an option to change to a different date.
On completion candidates will be awarded with an Active IQ level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing which will allow them to join CIMSPA at practitioner level.
